Bueno, con el permiso de los administradores (si creen que no es oportuno este post, que lo eliminen) os dejo un brico de cómo sustituir un anillo del airbag (contactor giratorio) en un RENAULT MODUS 1.2i 16v. No se trata de un VAG, pero es posible sirva de ayuda.
PD: no me hago responsable de los daños que cada uno pueda hacer a su coche.
La historia es que hace un tiempo se encendió el testigo del airbag y pasando una diagnosis me dio el error 9007 (DF072) “circuito 1 airbag frontal conductor”, el caso es que al girar el volante ya se escuchaba rozaba algo por dentro.
Al lío;
Lo primero y más importante es desconectar ambos polos de la batería antes de cualquier intervención en el airbag. Poner las ruedas rectas y después de esto hay que sacar el airbag del conductor utilizando una varilla doblada que hay que introducir por un orificio que tiene el volante por la parte de abajo.

Giramos media vuelta el volante para acceder al orificio que tiene por la parte de abajo del volante;

Introducimos la varilla aproximadamente unos 2cm y tirando un poco de la zona de claxon hacia nosotros presionamos con la herramienta hacia abajo el fleje de anclaje, es un poco jodi** esta operación pero al final sale;

Para que os hagáis una idea del fleje que mantiene en su sitio el airbag, aquí una foto con el airbag fuera;

Una vez desencajado el airbag giramos media vuelta en sentido contrario para volver a poner restas las ruedas y sacamos las conexiones eléctricas que lleva el airbag y los mandos del volante;

3- conexión de un cable de masa para los airbag
4- conexión del claxon
5- conexión de las teclasdel volante (regulador de velocidad)
Para soltar los dos conectores de los airbag hay que levantar primero una pestaña amarilla con ayuda de un destornillador pequeño y luego tirar suavemente del conector hacia fuera;

Una vez hecho esto retiramos el airbag del volante ;

Lo siguiente es desmontar el volante aflojando el tornillo torx (T40) del centro;

Desmontamos tirando la tapa que tenemos encima de los pedales;

Desconectamos el regulador de altura de los faros, el botón de desconexión del ESP y mando para la activación del limitador de velocidad/regulador de velocidad para poder retirar la tapa;

Ahora toca desmontar las dos cubiertas que hay bajo el volante, para la tapa de abajo toca retirar dos tornillo torx (T20) por la parte de abajo;

Retiramos las grapas del frontal que une la tapa de abajo con la de arriba;

Para la tapa de arriba hay que soltar de aquí haciendo palanca;

Las dos tapas desmontadas;

Ya con las tapas fuera lo vemos así;

Ahora toca quitar el tornillo torx que sujeta el conjunto del anillo+ los mando del limpia e intermitentes;

Una vez retirado el tornillo debemos abrir un poco las dos partes que une el tornillo retirado y tiraremos del conjunto hacia fuera hasta que salga. Tened en cuenta que lleva unas pestañas por el interior que encajan en la caña de dirección para evitar que pueda girarse (en la foto os señalo los dos orificios donde encajan esas pestañas);

Retiramos los tres conectores que lleva el conjunto;

Para retirar este conector debemos primero presionar sobre el cierre y empujar la presilla hacia adelante;

Para desmontar los mandos del limpia y de los intermitentes sólo hay que soltar una grapa por la parte de arriba y otra de abajo en ambos mandos;

Soltamos el conector verde y sacamos el cableado de su guía;

Montamos el conector verde de los mandos y metemos el cableado por su guía;

Una vez tenemos ya montado el conjunto los instalamos de nuevo en la caña del volante, con la precaución de encajarlo en las dos pestañas de la caña que comentaba antes;

Montamos las dos tapas situadas debajo del volante;

Y ahora a instalar el volante. Debemos introducir todo el cableado a través de un orificio que tiene poe la parte de arriba;

Centramos bien el volante ( la caña tiene unas marcas que debemos hacer coincidir con una pequeña flecha que tiene grabado el estriado del volante) y metemos su tornillo con un poco de sellador;

Colocamos los conectores del claxon y de los mandos en el volante del regulador de velocidad y los metemos en su sitio;

Montamos los dos conectores de los dos airbag del volante (uno verde y otro azul y no se pueden cambiar de sitio por la forma del conector), introducimos el seguro amarillo de los conectores y el cable de masa. Después a montar el airbag:

Montamos la tapa que está encima de los pedales y embornamos de nuevo la batería;

Una vez hecho esto arrancamos y nos damos una vuelta para ver que funciona todo. Ya no se enciende el testigo, qué alegría!!.

Una vez desencajado el airbag giramos media vuelta en sentido contrario para volver a poner restas las ruedas y sacamos las conexiones eléctricas que lleva el airbag y los mandos del volante;

Colocamos los conectores del claxon y de los mandos en el volante del regulador de velocidad y los metemos en su sitio;

Montamos los dos conectores de los dos airbag del volante (uno verde y otro azul y no se pueden cambiar de sitio por la forma del conector), introducimos el seguro amarillo de los conectores y el cable de masa. Después a montar el airbag:

Montamos la tapa que está encima de los pedales y embornamos de nuevo la batería;

Una vez hecho esto arrancamos y nos damos una vuelta para ver que funciona todo. Ya no se enciende el testigo, qué alegría!!.
