enganche remolque y vag-com

Tengo una altea freetrack con pre-instalación de fabrica (modulo J345) y le voy a poner el enganche, en el sitio que me lo montan, la instalación eléctrica la hacen con una centralita que empalma los cables de luces para que no de fallo (guarreria total) con lo cual voy a comprar el kit eléctrico original que es este: Sólo usuarios registrados pueden ver links. he visto en ross-tech que hay estas 4 opciones y mi pregunta es cual de las 4 debo de seguir para la freetrack??

Mirate a ver cual de todos tiene las ECUs de tu cocho creo que el 1K se parece bastante a tu 5P pero es cuestion de hacer la comparativa con un autoscan

ahora lo único que necesito es "traducir" esto porque me lio un poco con ello y con el vagcom no es que sea especialista, el modulo no lo tengo que registrar porque ya venia de serie y esta reconocido.

Configuration

The following Activations are necessary to ensure that the newly fitted parts are properly recognized and are ready to use.

• Update the Installation List in the Gateway (J533 / #19).
  
  • Register the newly added 69 - Trailer Control Module.
  
  
• Update the Trailer Control Module (J345 / #69) Coding.
  
  • Not all Retrofitting Kits contain Diagnostic capable Trailer Control Modules, some Aftermarket Modules may even be pre-coded. This Step can be ignored for Modules which are not Diagnostic capable.
  • Due to different Control Modules and Equipment in the Car the actual Coding Table is not shown here but will automatically be used by the Long Coding Assistant once you access the Function using VCDS. If an Aftermarket Module is installed, check the Retrofitting Kit for further Instructions.
  
  
• Update the Brake Electronics (J104 / #03) Configuration.
  
  • Check which ABS or ABS/ESP System is installed. If a MK60EC1 is installed an Activation is not necessary (proceed to the next Step), this Step is only valid for MK60 (from June 6th 2005 / MY 2006+) and MK60-AT. MK70 and MK70M as well as MK60 (before June 6th 2005 / through MY 2005) do not support the Trailer Stabilization Function.
    
    • Enable the Adaptation Function by performing a Security Access. Additional Information will be shown by VCDS once you access the Security Access Function.
    • Via Adaptation select Channel 056 and activate the Trailer Stabilization. Additional Information will be shown by VCDS once you access the Adaptation Channel.
    • The Activation of the Trailer Stabilization can be tested using a Trailer Test Tool (e.g. VAG 1537/A) by performing an Output Test.
  
  
• Update the Engine Control Module (J623 / #01) Coding.
  
  • Make sure that the Engine is NOT running, otherwise the new Coding will be rejected. Models equipped with Start/Stop System do have a Shutoff Switch/Button which will deactivate the Start/Stop Function.
  • As a Rule of Thumb, If the Engine uses conventional Short Coding (Coding is 7-digits like 0011312) the Long Codding Assistant does NOT apply. Modules using Short Coding typically do NOT support or require Trailer Configuration Coding. If the Engine Control Module uses a Long Coding the Activation is done in (Long) Coding itself through via Coding Assist. Please also note that there are different Coding Variants for Long Coding.
  • Due to different Control Modules and Equipment in the Car the actual Coding Table is not shown here but will automatically be used by the Long Coding Assistant once you access the Function using VCDS.
  
  
• Update the Parking Aid (J446 / #76) OR Parking Aid 2 (J446 / #10) Configuration, if installed.
  
  • Depending the exact Model/Model Year either Coding or Adaptation can be used.
  • Due to different Control Modules and Equipment in the Car the actual Setting is not documented here but will automatically be shown once you access the Coding/Adaptation Function using VCDS. A Security Access may be necessary prior to Coding the Module.
  
  
• Update the Rear View Camera (J772 / #6C) Coding, if installed.
  
  • Due to different Control Modules and Equipment in the Car the actual Coding Table is not shown here but will automatically be used by the Long Coding Assistant once you access the Function using VCDS.

Correcto, esa es la instalacion que debes hacer. Te resumo las opciones
en la gateway, modulo 19 dar de alta la unidad 69 que se supone que ya la llevas pero compruebalo
Codificar la unidad de control remolque con las funciones que vaya a soportar, es decir luces intermitentes y esas cosas. Esto se hace por longcoding
Luego el ABS, dependiendo del que lleves montado tienes que codificar la conduccion con remolque con el ESP para no tener problemas
Ahora el motor, si no lleva longcoding no es necesario tocarlo, si lleva longcoding codifica la funcion correspondiente
Lo siguiente es la ayuda de parking, se codifica por adaptation si procedce y necesitaras el codigo de seguridad (si es que lo llevas montado)
Ylo ultimo la camara trasera, si procede se codifica por loncoding

Un poco lioso pero te lo he tratado de resumir lo mas simple posible. Ponun autoscan de tu coche a ver que llevas y que no llevas, asi simplificamos mas

en el 01 engine/ BYTE 6 marco el bit 3 el de trailer y me tira el error "coding rejected error 31" que puede ser? (con el motor apagado encendido me daba otro error)
y por otro lado he leído en algunos sitios que se debe de marcar en 19 gate way BYTE 0 el bit 1 que es electronica 2 del motor

Bueno pues al parecer ya esta todo y sin ningún fallo en el vagcom, el bit del engine al parecer no se puede modificar en mi motor y el otro fallo se ha quitado al conectar los 13 polos al remolque y va perfectamente se anula el radar trasero, las luz de marcha atrás del coche también y el antiniebla trasero del coche tampoco luce porque detecta que el remolque los lleva, me imagino que los parámetros de ABS y ESP también los modificara al detectar el remolque, también he leído que si tienes activada la alarma y te lo desenganchan salta, esto lo tengo que probar.
Menos mal que me decidí por usar la centralita pre instalada de remolque (Trailer J345) porque menuda chapuza te quieren hacer en los talleres de instalación de enganches, cortar y empalmar cables y poner una centralita que engañe para que no de fallos de luces fundidas y si le hablas de la preinstalación no tienen ni idea o se desentienden de ello.

yo también tengo un freetrack y quería ponerle gancho pero usando la preinstalacion. Sólo hay que comprar el kit eléctrico que comentas y conectarlo a la j345 y a funcionar? Bueno y también tocar un poco lo que comentas con el vag com no? No quiero tener una instalación "regulera" de esas con centralitas "universales"...
